SmartTrips.app is a map-first AI trip planner operated by Eastbase Studio (“SmartTrips”, “we”, “us”). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the SmartTrips.app website, planner, and related features. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

You can reach us at support@eastbase.studio for any question about the service, your account, or these terms.

You may use SmartTrips.app only if you can form a binding agreement with us and are not barred from using the service under applicable law. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.

Some features require you to sign in. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the service.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Tell us promptly at support@eastbase.studio if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for the trips, notes, and other content you create or share.

SmartTrips.app helps you organize routes, itineraries, places, notes, budgets, collaborators, exports, and AI-assisted suggestions. You decide what to put into a trip, who to share it with, and whether to act on any suggestion.

You are responsible for the content in your trips. Do not store information you would not want processed by the service or, for shared trips, seen by others. See “Public sharing, templates, and creator pages” below and our Privacy Policy.

You keep ownership of the trip content you create. You grant SmartTrips.app the rights needed to host, store, process, display, sync, share, and export that content so we can operate the features you use, including sending relevant content to the third-party providers described below.

If you publish a public trip, template, or creator page, you grant other users the ability to view and fork that content within the service. Feedback you choose to send us may be used to improve the product.

You can invite others to a trip with an invite link. Collaborators can view the itinerary, add comments, and set travel preferences such as pace, mobility, and dietary needs. As the trip owner, you control who is invited and can revoke access at any time.

Only invite people you trust with the trip’s contents, and only add preferences you are comfortable sharing with the trip owner and the rest of the group.

Trips can be private, unlisted (anyone with the link), or public. Public trips, published templates, and creator profile pages can be viewed by anyone and may be indexed by search engines. A template is published as a fixed snapshot, so later edits to your source trip do not change a template you already published.

If you publish or share a trip, template, image, export, or public link, you are responsible for not exposing private, sensitive, unlawful, misleading, or third-party confidential information, and for only sharing content you have the right to share.

SmartTrips.app uses third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI and Google) to power features such as the planner chat, extracting places from messy input, and generating Trip Visuals. When you generate or revise a trip, or create visuals from it, relevant trip content is sent to these providers to produce the result. The Reality Check runs on our own servers and does not send your trip to an AI provider.

AI output can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong, and may vary between runs. We do not use your trip content to train our own AI models. Content sent to AI providers is handled under those providers’ own terms.

SmartTrips.app is a planning and organization tool only. It is not a travel agency, tour operator, booking provider, immigration advisor, safety authority, medical provider, or insurance advisor, and it does not sell, book, or guarantee any travel, place, activity, or transport.

Before you travel, verify the details that matter against official sources, including travel advisories, visa and entry rules, local laws, health guidance, venue and booking requirements, weather, accessibility, and transport schedules. You are responsible for deciding whether any route, place, activity, timing, or suggestion is suitable and safe for your circumstances.

The service relies on third-party providers to function, including hosting, database, authentication, maps and geocoding, weather, place photos, AI, analytics, error monitoring, anti-abuse, and payments. Map data, weather, photos, and similar information come from third parties and may be approximate, incomplete, or out of date.

Booking links to partners such as accommodation, activity, insurance, and eSIM providers may be affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you purchase through them. Your use of any third-party site or service is governed by that third party’s own terms and policies.

Do not misuse the service. In particular, do not interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer protected parts of the product, scrape or place automated load beyond normal use, resell or redistribute the service, or use it to create or share unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive content.

We use rate limits and anti-abuse measures to keep the service available for everyone, and we may act on activity that threatens the service or other users.

SmartTrips.app offers a free plan and paid plans (Premium, Premium Pro, and Unlimited), each with monthly and yearly options. Plans include limits such as saved trips, daily AI usage, and — on Premium Pro and Unlimited — a monthly allowance of Trip Visuals credits. Current limits and prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout.

Daily AI limits replenish on a rolling basis and do not bank or carry over. Included monthly Trip Visuals credits refresh each month and do not roll over. Optional one-time Trip Visuals credit packs are consumable and are used only after your included monthly credits are exhausted. Limits keep the service sustainable, and we may adjust them or apply fair-use protections against abuse.

Paid plans are recurring subscriptions that automatically renew at the interval you choose until you cancel. Payments and one-time credit-pack purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, and your purchase may also be subject to Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms shown at checkout. Lemon Squeezy collects payment information, calculates and collects applicable taxes, and issues receipts.

Upgrading to a paid tier takes effect immediately and may include an immediate prorated charge for an existing subscription. The internal signup promotion is separate from paid billing: it requires no card, does not renew, and returns to Free when it expires unless you voluntarily purchase a subscription.

You can cancel anytime through the billing portal or by contacting support@eastbase.studio. Cancellation stops future renewals, and paid access normally continues until the end of the current billing period.

Refund eligibility and how to request a refund are described in our Refund Policy. We do not reimburse travel costs such as bookings, transport, lodging, activities, or missed reservations.

We work to keep the planner useful and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, and features may differ between environments or change as the product evolves. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service.

We may update these terms when the product, billing, or legal requirements change. If we make material changes, we will update the date shown on this page, and continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.

You may stop using the service at any time and can request account deletion by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk or legal exposure, or abuse the service or other users, and where reasonable we will try to give notice.

When access ends, your right to use the service ends. Some content you made public may persist where others have forked or cached it, and we may retain limited information as described in the Privacy Policy.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that plans, routes, estimates, weather suggestions, AI output, or third-party data are accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your trip.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartTrips.app and Eastbase Studio are not responsible for travel costs, missed reservations, denied entry, delays, cancellations, safety incidents, medical issues, lost bookings, or other trip-related losses arising from your reliance on plans, exports, AI suggestions, route or travel-time estimates, weather suggestions, or third-party data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before starting a formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@eastbase.studio so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled by the competent courts in Vietnam, unless applicable consumer protection laws in your country or region require otherwise.

Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
